Senior Management

Gary Gabriel - Founder and President
Gary is a pioneer in digital media with more than 16 years of experience in video production and television news. He has written and produced numerous marketing and PR videos, including the first online video commercial in 1998. Gary has extensive knowledge of video encoding and streaming technologies. Prior to founding Vmatrix, he was an Emmy-award winning reporter for KABC-TV in Los Angeles and KCRA-TV in Sacramento. Gary has a BA in radio and television from San Jose State University.

Prasad Utturkar - Director of Engineering
Prasad is an experienced technologist who brings more than 12 years of engineering and technology development experience to the Vmatrix team. His background includes building and managing multiple Web-based multimedia and enterprise applications and systems. Prasad was CTO for Auraline Inc., a division of NEC, where he led the design, development and system architecture of a multimedia email marketing platform for use by NEC America and NEC Japan. Previously, he worked with Cisco Systems building systems and applications to improve business processes for the Engineering and IT groups. Prasad's career also includes development work with ReleaseNow.com, Auto Town and Impact Systems. He has a BS in computer science and electronics from Shivaji University in India.
