The Challenge
After several years of frustration regarding his former SEO consultant's inability to drive his Website to the first page of local search results, Dr. Steven Booth of Silver Screen Dental in Austin, Texas, asked Vmatrix to launch a video SEO campaign for his practice. Dr. Booth, like many SMB (small- and medium-business) owners believed that if he could capture the enthusiasm of his patients on video, their enthusiasm would convince prospective patients looking for a dentist in Austin to choose Dr. Booth instead of his competitors.
During an initial review of Dr. Booth's keyword phrases and a competitive analysis, our team determined that Dr. Booth had a unique first-mover opportunity among Austin dentists to drive relevant patient testimonial videos to the top of local search results on Google, Bing, Yahoo, YouTube, and the social networking sites Facebook and Twitter. In addition, we discovered that Austin residents searching for a specific type of dental procedure, i.e. dental implants, crowns, teeth whitening, etc., were far more likely to respond to video testimonials from other dental patients just like them.
The Solution
Vmatrix produced five video testimonials with Silver Screen patients on the topics of dental implants, Invisalign braces, teeth whitening, crowns, and Lumineers (these videos are streaming from the video gallery above). In addition to producing Dr. Booth's patient testimonial videos, we produced five dedicated VLPs (video lead pages), with each page customized for the needs of a particular type of patient and offering the patient a time-limited offer or discount if they called Silver Screen Dental (click on the image on the right to see one of the VLPs produced for Dr. Booth at www.austin-dental-implants.com.
Beginning in the spring of 2010, five patient testimonial videos and the five corresponding video lead pages were submitted through the Vmatrix video SEO platform Vsearch™ to hundreds of blogs, podcast directories, video search engines, press release distribution sites, and social networking sites, including Facebook and Twitter. Within a few weeks, Dr. Booth obtained first-page rankings on Google, and he has continued to gain top rankings ever since.

The Metrics
Because phone numbers and e-mails called or submitted through Silver Screen Dental video lead pages are tracked, Dr. Booth is able to monitor the success of his ongoing video SEO program. If you click on the image to see a larger view, you'll notice that patients who saw one of Dr. Booth's videos on page one of their search results then went on to fill out a video lead page form giving complete contact information (first name, last name, e-mail, phone number). They also included information about their particular dental needs.
